Accessibility Statement
The website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What has been done
- Every page is tested with automated accessibility checks (axe) and has no known violations.
- Text contrast is at least 4.5:1, including text set over photographs, which sits on a dark gradient.
- All functions work with a keyboard, focus is always visible, and a “Skip to content” link is provided.
- Pages work at 200% text zoom and on screens from 320 pixels wide, with no sideways scrolling.
- Motion is limited to short hover and focus transitions; nothing moves on its own, and transitions are switched off when the device asks for reduced motion.
- The project list is a standard table that works without JavaScript; filters add to it but are not required. Carousels and tabs show their first item without JavaScript and never advance on their own.
- Maps have text alternatives, and every country shown on a map is also given in a list. Photographs have text alternatives or are marked as decorative.
Known limitations
Downloadable PDF documents are generated automatically and are not fully tagged for screen readers. The same information is available on the website pages.
